“I often wonder at how we got to a place in the world where terms like “organic” and “GMO” are antithetical but somehow linked to our daily struggle to be healthy.” I feel like it started at least 50 years ago when even in the small town I grew up in there were stores staying open 24/7. I thought, “how is that healthy for anyone?” We follow Joel Salatin not because we are following some trend. No, we were drwan to him because what he is doing makes sense, but the trick is how to be profitable. Something can make all the sense in the world but just is not practical. It wisdom to learn from someone who has already tried and failed as well as succeeded, Polyface Farms has done that.
